Back In Focus
I am very excited to announce that I will be running a Back Care Focus Course for 6 x weeks starting 2 June, which will be aimed at anyone who has on-going back pain issues and would like some workable management solutions.
Back pain/care has been a specialist interest in my teaching for many years – with my own back pain and experience of learning to manage that pain as a central focus.
As we continue to learn more about movement and the body’s natural intelligence, I have been drawn to learning environments with Yoga teachers who promote practices which focus on improving the integrity of the spine and restoring balance and vitality to the whole body. Drawing on these teachings I will offer my ‘Awakening the Spine’ experience to potential new students with the opportunity to explore a modern-day approach to Yoga, using breath and intelligent movement to address postural stresses and every-day challenges on the body. My aim will be to introduce the holistic nature of a practice which can potentially free the body from pain and restore natural movement.
The course will require the commitment to attend one online session per week over a period of six weeks and is suitable for anyone who has struggled with long-term or intermittent back pain – whether from injury, muscle strain, herniated disc, degenerative disc, scoliosis, spinal stenosis or other dysfuntional movement issues of the spine.
The classes will operate through Zoom and will be supported by specialised recorded practices.
There will be a WhatsApp/Skype call prior to the course start date to confirm suitability of the course.
Individual session prior to start and follow-up practice guidance plan for moving forward.

Maximum of 10 x students per course.
